The countdown is on to enter the Somerset Business Awards 2027, with businesses, charities and organisations across the county urged to submit their entries before the deadline on November 20.

With 14 categories available, organisations of all sizes have the opportunity to gain recognition for their achievements over the past year, whether that is business growth, innovation, sustainability, customer service, leadership or community impact.

Previous entrants have used the awards to showcase success, celebrate their teams and raise their profile, while finalists and winners have benefited from valuable publicity and independent recognition.

Organised by Somerset Chamber of Commerce, the awards are free to enter and open to both Chamber members and non-members.

David Crew (pictured right with Michael Cahill of Albert Goodman), Managing Director of Somerset Chamber of Commerce, said: “Every year the Somerset Business Awards celebrate the talent, ambition and achievements that exist across Somerset’s business community and voluntary sector.

“Whether you are a growing business, an established organisation, a charity or an individual making a real difference, these awards provide an opportunity to gain valuable recognition and celebrate success.

“There are many outstanding organisations and individuals across the county and I would encourage anyone thinking about entering not to leave it until the last minute. Taking part can help raise your profile, recognise your team and showcase the impact you are making.”

Leading accountancy firm Albert Goodman is once again the headline sponsor, returning for a 17th consecutive year of support.

Michael Cahill, Partner at Albert Goodman, said: “We’re proud to be sponsoring the Somerset Business Awards again this year. It’s something we look forward to, because it gives us a genuine chance to see the scale of talent and ambition across the county, from long established firms to newer businesses just finding their feet.

“Somerset has a business community that’s honest, hardworking and full of ambition, and we’re proud to help shine a light on it.”
