Only entries submitted online via the Somerset Business Awards website can be accepted.
Decisions by the judging panel are final but feedback is available where requested.
Current category and/or other sponsors of the Somerset Business Awards cannot submit entries for the awards during their period of sponsorship, past sponsors can submit entries to the awards once their financial commitment has ceased.
Award sponsors must notify the Chamber of Commerce prior to judging if there is any potential conflict of interest i.e. an award entrant is a customer, supplier, service provider to the sponsor’s category or is connected in business with the category sponsor.
In such cases entrants and submissions will be accepted however, an additional independent judge will be appointed by Somerset Chamber of Commerce to oversee the submission, in order to provide impartiality.
Attendees at the Somerset Business Awards ceremony must be over 18 on the date of the awards unless agreed in advance with Somerset Chamber of Commerce. Please note that exceptions will only be made for finalists in categories where the recipient may be reasonably expected to be under the age of 18.
