Aimed at businesses with 11-50 employees.
All the winners of a “Business of the Year Award” will have demonstrated how they can stand out from the crowd in their category through areas such as ambition, profitability, growth, sound business planning, customer satisfaction and management of people – they will have a “wow factor” that is worth celebrating.
Judges will be looking for:
- A clear business plan
- Financials both past and present (turnover, profit/loss figures will be treated in confidence, estimates are acceptable)
- Evidence of a clear vision for the long-term future of the business

Dan joined BT in 1991 as a Desk Based Account Manager in Taunton. Since joining BT Dan worked across a number of sales roles. Dan has also spent time in a variety of Channel, Commercial & Proposition roles. In his current role, Dan is responsible for ensuring we deliver great advice for our SME customers in the West Region in terms of the BT services that can help their businesses. Dan has lived in Taunton for over 25 years, and loves the South West!
In his spare time Dan loves sport, and often takes part in Ironman Triathlons.
