With just over two weeks to go before the entries close, Somerset businesses are being encouraged to finalise and submit their applications for this year’s Somerset Business Awards. The Awards will officially close for entries on Monday 22nd August 2016, at midday.
Growing each year, the Somerset Business Awards have an impressive reputation for celebrating success within the county, and annually recognise outstanding businesses, employees and working processes. The Awards provide businesses with the platform for reflection, as well as the opportunity to celebrate with the team and plan for the future.
This year the Awards welcome a new sponsor: Wessex Reserve Forces’ and Cadets’ Association, who take on the Skills for Growth Awards. John Beake, from Wessex Reserve Forces’ and Cadets’ Association, comments on the sponsorship, “The Somerset Business Awards have been highly coveted awards, and there is huge interest and potential for many more nominees this year. To be a part of the judging panel – which ultimately will help businesses to learn, grow and celebrate success – can only be a good thing for Somerset business. We wish all the entrants the best of luck!”
The Awards culminate with a spectacular black-tie ceremony, which will be hosted by BBC news presenter, Alex Lovell for 2016. This glittering event will take place on Friday 21st October 2016, at Wellsprings Leisure Centre in Taunton.
The Somerset Business Awards are free to enter and businesses can nominate themselves, with the option of 14 different categories. The Awards are sponsored by a variety of Somerset businesses from the county’s vibrant business community, including main sponsor, Albert Goodman – returning for the sixth consecutive year.
