Aimed at businesses with 1-10 employees.

All the winners of a “Business of the Year Award” will have demonstrated how they can stand out from the crowd in their category through areas such as ambition, profitability, growth, sound business planning, customer satisfaction and management of people – they will have a “wow factor” that is worth celebrating.

Judges will be looking for:

  • A clear business plan
  • Financials both past and present (turnover, profit/loss figures will be treated in confidence, estimates are acceptable)
  • Evidence of a clear vision for the long-term future of the business
