The Albert Goodman Family Business of the YearAward, sponsored by Albert Goodman, went to Framtons Ltd.
Framptons Limited, a successful food manufacturer based in Shepton Mallet, is a third generation family business which has grown and prospered in Somerset.
Founded in 1898 by George Cranfield Frampton as an egg wholesaler, the company now processes and packs more than 2 million litres of fruit juice, smoothies, milks, food blends and egg products each week.
Current Chairman Clive Frampton said: “It is a real honour to have been awarded Family Business of the Year – a truly great accolade for our team. We are proud to have maintained our family values in developing and running our business, which has grown from being a small egg wholesaler to a food manufacturer with a £30 million turnover. Here’s to the next 113 years of successful business!”
