The Collaborative Innovation Award, sponsored by Collaborative Innovation Initiative was won by Futures for Somerset, workin with BAM Construction and the Bridgwater Education Trust .
Futures for Somerset, BAM Construction and the Bridgwater Education Trust are working together to lead a pioneering collaborative and innovative programme to achieve positive outcomes for young people and communities across the town of Bridgwater. A key feature of our work is achieving an integrated approach to raising educational and economic achievements, feeding through into the general health and well-being of local communities.
Futures for Somerset (FfS) is a long term strategic partnership established with Somerset County Council as part of the Building Schools for the Future initiative. The Partnership’s core focus is upon transforming education for learners across Somerset, through engagement with Authorities, schools, teachers, pupils, local communities and business enterprises. FfS strive for excellence in its facilitation of educational transformation and thus work with a wide range of stakeholders whose collective purpose is to achieve better outcomes for communities across Somerset.
