Sponsor of Business of the Year 2-5 employees
The Federation of Small Businesses is the UK’s largest campaigning pressure group promoting and protecting the interests of the self-employed and owners of small firms. Formed in 1974, it now has 210,000 members including 4,500 members in Somerset.
Our lobbying arm applies pressure on MPs, Government and Whitehall and puts the FSB viewpoint over to the media. Development Managers and local members work alongside regional organisations to further FSB influence at a local level. The FSB is now working harder than ever to reassert the voice of small businesses at every level of government and make your voice heard. For example our Keep Trade Local campaign seeks to ensure a viable future for independent shops on and off the high street, defending the choice and diversity that customers deserve.
The FSB is non-profit making and non-party political.
The FSB is committed to delivering a wide range of high quality, good value business services to its members. These services are subject to continuing review and represent a positive enhancement to the benefit of membership of the Leading Business Organisation in the UK. Visit www.fsb.org.uk for our full range of benefits.
The FSB works to build communities that recognise value and adequately reward the endeavours of those who are self employed and small business owners.
