Sponsor of Collaborative innovation Award

We are a 3 year long initiative running in Somerset part funded by the EU. Our local delivery partnership is made up of University of Plymouth, Somerset County Council and Southwest One. Our objective is to increase innovation activities within organisations in Somerset. In practise, this means inspiring businesses to take the next step up the innovation ladder in collaboration with others by exposing them to case studies/best practice in their sector and in other sectors and providing opportunities to innovate in partnership.
The wider project has 9 transnational partners spanning UK, Belgium, Germany Ireland and France. We will feed in and feed out learning to and from the transnational team to promote transnational sharing of best practice.
Our activities include: consolidation of network partnerships, champions workshops, cross sector events, ideas competitions and themed events to tackle specific business challenges in Somerset by nurturing collaborative innovation. We will proactively seek opportunities (which may be nurtured or may ‘pop up’) to use the programme to enhance the economic development of Somerset.
We are keen to work with Somerset businesses who want to increase their levels of innovation by collaborating, sharing ideas and making new business linkages for mutual benefit.
If you are interested in engaging with our project please email your business name, area of activity and contact details to roger.hall@plymouth.ac.uk to ensure that you are informed about upcoming events.
