Welcome to the Somerset Business Awards 2010
As Somerset moves out of recession, we think it’s more important than ever to recognise and promote the county’s talented entrepreneurs. Every year the number of high quality entrants grows as companies recognise the value of winning a Somerset Business Award. It is a mark of quality that brings prestige, motivates colleagues, and potentially boosts business.
Fourteen awards are available this year with categories to ensure that all types and sizes of company are able to take part. These include: Charity of the Year, Best Exporter, Self Employed Sole Trader, New Business (under 3 years), Service Excellence, E-Business, Marketing & Promotion, Waste Minimisation, Carbon Reduction, Entrepreneur of the Year and Business of the Year (in 3 size categories).
This year the Somerset Business Awards Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony will be held on 22nd October 2010 at Somerset County Cricket Club, Taunton.
The Awards are organised by Somerset Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Federation of Small Businesses and sponsored by Albert Goodman. We will be bringing you further information as we progress towards the Awards evening. The closing date for entries is the 1st September – so you do need to hurry if you want enter this year!
